Pandora: by the Music Genome Project

more like this here : Tunes

pandora.gifI have been recently introduced to Pandora. Pandora is a Flash application which allows you to enter you preferred music taste by artist or song title. It then searched it's database for not only that artist or song but then compiles a "playlist" based of the criteria of that selection. It works like this:

I typed in Nine Inch Nails, it then played Into the void, then Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson, then Orgy then Superbeast by Rob Zombie and back to Nine Inch Nails with The Day the World Went Away.

Type in the search and sit back and enjoy the playlist, if you hate something you can guide the system which not only goes to the next song, but helps the AI for the next time.

You get four or five songs, but then you have to create an account, which is free so don't panic. You can then listen until you're blue in the face. Check it out and tell me what you think.

I think im pissed, really really pissed.
A statement made by Mike Horn,President of Palisades Toys,
"I regret to inform you that after more than 11 successful years, Palisades Entertainment, LLC has discontinued its business of manufacturing and selling licensed and proprietary action figures, collectibles, toys and other goods. This development parallels a general trend within the toy industry, including the bankruptcy of one of Palisades’ largest customers.

Palisades toys preveavor of such lisences as, Muppets, Sesame Street,
Adult Swim, Transformers, Gi-Joe, P.A.L.Z, And much more looks
to be defunkt.

Palisades has sold a substantial portion of its assets to another industry player, an affiliate of C.A.S. Iberia, Inc. named Limited by CAS, Inc. That company will continue the sale of certain of the brands that Palisades developed, including the Factory X line.

Time will tell on how pissed i actually get.
I want fucking plutonians!!!!

Another step in the right direction.

Marvel.com has announced Classic Fight Scene Contest Winner. The battle raged on for over 2 months, but now, one cover has emerged victorious: Mark Bagley's Spider-Man Vs. Venom from Amazing Spider-Man #365. Which makes me ever so happy, i've always wanted a Mark Bagley style venom.
My first tattoo even came from this very book.

Toy Biz has said that the winning covers and scenes will be used in all new Marvel Legends product line that’s so top secret that we can't even disclose them to you .
Wait a goddamn minute, i thought Hasbro was going to, and...
Fuck it.
